Where did you grow up?

Kenora, Ontario.  Chasing around my 2 older bros.

How did you start skiing and what led you to move to Whistler?

My mom taught me on this tiny hill, when I was 2 years old.  As a kid, I always dreamed of being a pro skier, and did all I could to be the best skier I could be, including skiing behind our snowmobile when the ski hill wasn’t open.
When I graduated, I moved to Fernie, BC, and learned backcountry skiing.  Then I wanted to learn big mountain skiing and ski mountaineering, so I moved to Chamonix, France.  After that, I wanted to combine it and use snowmobiles for access, so I moved to Whistler, and now Pemberton.

Do you get paid to ski?

Yes.  Not as much as Dan though.

What’s your “other” or “real” job?

My wife Tessa and I run a Christian youth program in Pemberton called
Young Life www.younglife.ca

Other passions in life?

Exploring, dirtbiking, snowmobiling, camping, mt. biking

Any nicknames?

little air, Scratchy Mosquito,

Tell me about something that defines who you are besides skiing?

My relationship with Jesus Christ.
