Maxim Arsenault
Tell me about your history. Where you grew up? How you started skiing and what led you to move to Whistler?
I was born in La Pocatiere, Quebec. I started skiing with my father who was a race coach at 5 years old. Every weekend growing up I skied with my family and ski raced until I was 10 years old. After that I skied with my family at a different mountain in Quebec every weekend just freeriding until I was 17 when I joined the army. I was in the army for 7 years and I spent all my free time skiing. I left at 24 and moved to Whistler to ski full time, where I intended to spend most of my time in the park, but the big mountains called me. There were many top level big mountain skiers who inspired me.
